Two great results in one evening as the English National football team, beat their old rivals West Germany at Wembley Stadium, plus the landlord of the Red Lion, Ruddington (Gaz McManus) selflessly raised £204.00 for our charity.
A raffle for an England replica shirt had taken place, whilst all the regular local drinkers in 'Tillows' enjoyed the game immensely and donated to 'BD' in the process.
The Red Lion have done a lot for us at Bloomin' Dementia and we thank Gaz and Andy for their hard work and great gestures of support.
The photographs show Tony Goodman, the Charity First Aid Training Officer for Bloomin' Dementia and Stewart Handley revelling in the atmosphere, Andy Hallam our charity Trustee with his well-travelled England and Nottingham Forest flag, and again Andy outside the public house with Gaz McManus.
The Red Lion is going forward with further support for Bloomin' Dementia and we are more than happy with our 'local' becoming a charity partner of ours.
