Long Awaited BD News: Part 2

Over the past couple of months, we have ramped up our funding and events and resumed our social presence and conscience in the local community. Part 2 of this long awaited news focuses on the organisations and people who have been helping our charity.

Andy meets Joe

Nottingham Forest captain Joe Worrall is pictured presenting BD Trustee and fundraiser Andy Hallam, with a pair of signed Phantom football boots and a signed, match worn shirt.

The pair met in The Waterside Bar and Kitchen on Trent Bridge, Nottingham, to swap some current football stories and chat further, about Joe's future help for the charity.

Local heroes to the rescue

Thank you as always, to The Red Lion Ruddington for their help for the charity, especially Jonathan 'Tich' McManus, who for free, installed a Ring Door Bell and key safe (donated by BD) for a local, elderly lady, who had recently been burgled.

Also, many thanks to local tradesman Ross Bonser, who voluntarily donated his time and paint supplies, to decorate the same elderly lady's living room, free, on behalf of the charity.

‘Tich' is pictured here (middle) with his brothers Gareth and Chris enjoying a well earned break.

Ross is pictured at the property, putting the finishing touches to his more than generous handiwork.

Great local community support for a lovely, yet vulnerable lady, who was the victim of local petty criminals.

Thank you to Ross (07944209086) and Tich (07864262551), who are always available for quotations for future work.
